The "Innovation Art Ball Dominican Republic" has been started at the occasion of the "ICT Forum" in Julio Dolio in November 2007. This Forum has been hosted by INNOV-E, the business accelerator of Santo Domingo and welcomed business incubation experts from Chile, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Panama, Poland, and USA. Rosendo Alvarez III, Chief Innovation Officer of INNOV-E took the initiative for beginning the creation process for an art ball symbolizing the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of his country.
