joined SPICE in 2001 after she'd lived in Sweden just one year. Originally from the United States, she moved to Sweden when she was serving as Executive Vice President for ANGLE Technology. As a consultant for ANGLE, Mary worked for Mjärdevi Science Park, whose CEO, Sten Gunnar Johansson was also the chairman of the Swedish science park association, which at the time was called Swedepark. Today the association is called SiSP (Swedish Incubation and Science Park) and is chaired by Therese Sjölundh. Both Mary and Therese were the editors of the Swedish data included in the first SPICA directory.
Today, Mary remains in Sweden where she is president of transmera ab, a management and consulting firm dedicated to international business and cooperation. In June of 2007 she became a citizen of Sweden.
